Cobalt on the History Channel!!!
Cobalt on the History Channel!!!
I have TiVo so I am watching it right now but at 11 the History channel had on a show called Custom Cars. In the new age hot rod section of the show they had a Cobalt!!! It was at SoCal Speedshop. Apparently top speed of 243mph! It was defintely turbo and was running up to 45 psi. Wow!!! It was just mentioned very briefly but wondered of anyone else saw it!!!
It was part of the Modern Marvels marathon...the episode was called custom cars. It was like a 15 second blurb but I thought it was cool they used a Cobalt rather than the traditional Honda Civic when talking about sport compacts.
yeah I saw that to ,, it was a short part, but it is good the used the cobalt for it insted of any import car,,, also I have seen that car in a Mag dont remember wich but it was when it ran at the salt deserts or something like that.
I did see that episode, it aired a few weeks back, too. Also saw an episode of Auto Maniac w/ Golburg and they had the SoCal bellytank car on there with the Ecotec engine. They showed a picture of the LSJ, it was the engine they chose to use when resurecting one of the original cars. The show was about land speed cars on the Bonniville Salt Flats.
