Now, the ion is only a 4 seater but if i swapped out the rear seat to a cobalt seat are there bolt holes already there to bolt in the middle seatbelts?

 

I would love a answer to this too. I just bought a redline and I want a cobalt rear seat. I hate the cupholders in the middle and would rather have a cobalt seat(easier to put rear facing baby car seat in middle of cobalt). If anyone wants my ion rear seats for cobalts ill trade and throw in some cash.

well i'm 100% sure i've seen IRL seats swapped into a cobalt on here. what went into it? probably nothing. can you upload a pic of the seat bracket? or from under the seat?

re-read ur question. there are no bolts or anything pertaining to seatbelts on the cobalt seat. just holes where the seatbelt release buttons go through

 

I've got SS leather seats that were in an ion.
The guy traded recaros for SS leather...

In a REDLINE, are there bolt holes already in the frame for the third seat belt? I know cobalt seats fit there the exact same. I'm asking if i swap the seats are there bolt holes already for me to bolt a 3rd seat belt assembly in.

 

You'd need the mount at the top of the seat too remember...I doubt that would be there but I really have no clue.

 

Is the IRL the same length as a cobalt? with the way the doors open it looks like a longer car.

 

No idea but the seats bolt into a cobalt sedan perfectly. DId it in my old boosted 2.2.
