cobalt LS with 2.0l

ok guys so i picked up a 2008 cobalt ls that was wrecked in the front minor. I have a local junkyard selling a 2.0l ss motor with trans and everything. Basiclly everything u would need to build a ss ground up. Is it possible to do the motor swap??

time, yes. but money will depend on what he gives you the engine/tranny for. Other than that the suspension parts are interchangeable and the ECU/harnesses shouldnt be too too expensive

well see everything for 2000 he will give all the wiring computer everything...( i have major connection there) so i mean hell i dont think u can beat it.. but i didnt know if it been done many times and if it would work

wat u need mike?

lol cause i was takin the junk off and throwin it away...now depending if i do the swap hell ill give u the old motor lol i wont need it...anyone need a emision pump for a 2008 cobalt lol i got one since i got my tune today by jeff i took mine off

Its gonna take a ton of work. It'd be much easier/cheaper to just get another L61 and build it. If the LS was an auto, it'll be even harder to change it to the F35 trans.

do you have any pics? I could tell you what I need. I need parts for my build as well. Tensioner, alt bracket, IC pump bracket, pump connector, random bolts. **** like that

And woot for the tune by Jeff! How is it?

ya i mean i no it is gonna be alot of work but hints the wrecked car which will be sittin in garage so no hurry on anything and mike do u need parts for supercharger build or just 2.2.....i didnt buy the 2.0 yet...and again mike sick as **** man the tune did wonders to start i beat my buddys 2.3 vtec turbo rdx and which i used to stick around 1-2 cars behind him and now im like half car to full car ahead i am very please wit it. now when i go to flashlightss in august real test comes my car for my car club vs rival clubs nissan spec v

And thats awesome about the tune. Did he do any data logging with you?

I'm going to see him about my tune once i'm ready for it.

and ya man i think u could gain serious power with it. i mean im not sure wat u have done but all i have is gmpp air intake gmpp cat back and zzp header dwpipe and now i can really feel the power

If you need help man, just let me know. And I'm not getting my tune until my build is done. It's not worth it right now.

i see your point but let me run this by u.
here we are crusin down 51 honda drives by i have a emision pump comin on and off and my car is laggin like a bitch so i catch the honda we take off(he is blowin vtec sauce all over the place)
i get next to um blow by and car is skippin cause of the pump not working right///i had no choice but to tune it now and then this winter tune again once the supercharger on
