hey guys well, ive been having some thoughts and me and gm arent getting along, my phone calls with them have not been pretty, my visits to the dealers have been worse, so im curious what the prices of our cobalts are like even after about 2 years, im having ,ajor considerations of building my motor getting it tuned, to a couple set-ups, and than selling, its been more pain than its worth, i understand im gonna lose money with my build, but GM cars in my eyes are getting worse and worse, the interiors are well junk, they went to plastic, and theres no options, and to top it off, electrical is even worse, dealers are becoming more and more nit picking about everything, they say they try for warranty but the car will sit 3 days, go in for 5 minutes and i usually get the famous phone call of no warranty, so as sits, im steamed, its not lately, but one of my issues is that my car sits in a corner collecting dust, waiting for me to finish the motor so sits heres what im thinking

i owe under 20 right now, i have invested about 6 in mods if not more ( from clutch, to axles, motor build and random parts, betting by the time im done tuning and truly done building will be around 8), so with 45,000 km, i predict where ill be by march next year, i think i should be able to sell from a price range of 16,000 to 18000 remember this is canadian , i knwo i take a loss personally if not a little more, but it doesnt bother if i truly wanted re sale i woulda bought a bmw, or something more exotic, but just i guess what im looking at is, what are 05's and 06' ss/sc getting for a trade in value, and should i sell in august and september, when is the market better for selling a car. someone please let me know , i really am just gonna ride out the summer and get rid of it, GM has really really pissed me off

 

I got 13,000 usd, for my 2005 with only 17k on it, u upgraded to a brand new 2007 g85 2005s had so many problems.

 

17000 miles right, i also have to remember vehicles are cheaper in the states lol, i can buy a subaru WRX from the states and bring it over the border and still save 12 grand after border fees and so on
isnt that ridiculous
