AMEN, couldnt have said it better myself. however... Ive drove both and i like the feeling of the cobalts interior better... i just feel more comfortable in the driver seat. I dont really favor either car more then the other... I wanted an srt4 before i got my cobalt, but i couldnt find the right one.

well the srt4 is a power monger so if you want a car with sem extra pep id say go with that...otherwise if your looking for just a plain old car i would go with the cobalt ( not that there is anything wrong with the coby the srt4 is just out of the box performance)

the srt may be family friendly, but those viper seats ARE NOT family friendly. if you have a fam i would go with the ion redline, if not, definately the balt.

I test drove a srt4 after i bought my balt, just to see what all the hype was about. I am soooo glad i have my balt. seriously. that thing felt so cheap. not that our cars are gods gift to intirior design, but i like it. im over 6'4 tall and i fit in the balt easy. i was not that impressed with the srt4 as far as how "fast it was" i had stage two on my car at the time with a cupple mods tho too. so yeah, i guess im a cobalt "fanboy" but at least i checked out a srt4. I could just as easy be a srt-4 "fan boy. good luck

agreed.. an IRL is the best of both world's in his case.. 4 door's and an LSJ motor.. get an 06 comp pack.. it will have black leather/grey cloth combo recaro seat's, a light ladder tach/boost gauge on the steering column and an LSD in the tranny.

before i got a cobalt i was looking heavy into a srt4. wanted one more then anything. then i started to look at the cobalts and although you cant mod as much as the srt you can still go fast enough to get your fix. and i agree with everyone else..the cobalt is 100 times better looking. the interior on the srt4s is aweful its like sitting in a tin can. also my buddy owned one and its sitting in his back yard dead after all the **** he hit with it. my suggestion is clear. cobalt.
