i got mine for about 26 out the door tax and everything- i got ripped of cuz it was new and they had a 6 grand mark price cuz it was the first one in california, i made sure they droped some of it though. i forgot how much i pay for insurance sorry lol its late at night and i cant think straight.
i live in california and the gas prices are insane around 2.59 a gallon and im sposed to put 91 or higher for gas (so says the manual) i pay roughy 30 bucks a tank and i get around 300-320 miles a full tank.
hope that helps a bit

All forced induction cars, supercharged or turbo require 91 or higher octane fuel. Higher octane burns slower and more complete then lower octane. Using lower octane can cause engine knock/premature detonation. You really should put higher octane fuel in there ASAP.
Also, Read the manual! Theres a ton of useful information in there. Some of which could prevent harm to your car. Hopefully you havent been driving much on the 87.
You will want to read your owners manual before you drive your Cobalt SS!
Any Supercharged Engine requires higher octane, the Cobalt asks for 91 HOWEVER you may use 87 octane, but will notice a loss of power...
Here it is, all outlined on the Chevrolet Website, Cobalt, Specs, Engines:
COBALT SUPERCHARGED SPECS

I wouldn't get anything higher than 91, unless you love to spend more money than you really have too!

You should notice a nice power increase
Yea i hope when i go check on a ss it will not cost me over $400 a month and my insurance does not rise to much. Do the put it as a 2 door sports car with a supercharger im not sure on that. It will be replacing a 2001 cavy on the insurace which right now is at about $300 every 6mths
