shouldn't people be getting there cobalts ss soon? take pics when u get the car

 

I was doing a search for one in my area, and the closest dealership with one in stock is Golden's Chevrolet in Redding PA. (Im in Baltimore, and thats about 4 hours away, so I am not making that ride )

when i went to the car lot and ask them when will the ss/sc will be out they had no clue ss/sc was so i told them when will the cobalt ss be out they said sometime in march so in my mind its ss ss ss ss ss ss ss ss on the car it has no ss/sc on it so its an ss

 

True, it does not have SS/SC on it, thats just to make it easier to type on here, but on the door, the badge does say SS Supercharged. The SS is the non-supercharged 2.4 that is supposed to be out this summer as a 2006 model. Check out the pics the one guy posted of the car in Arizona dealer and look at the door badge.

Let me clarify.

The Cobalt SS/SC has been "released" as a 2005 Model. Those who placed orders in January and before should be receiving their vehicle soon.

The Cobalt SS will be "released" as a 2006 model. Those who have already placed orders will be receiving their vehicles late summer to mid-fall.

The SS/SC is not the same as an SS. As far as I know, nobody has placed orders for SS (not supercharged) Cobalts yet.

Got a call from my dealership today, they modified my order, no ETA of when it will arrive but they said my car will be the first SS/SC they get

 

my dealer called me today to tell me more coupes were in and i asked him when the ss s/c's were coming and he said at the end of the month or begining of next month. i dont really know if i should believe him though. is there anway to check to see if any are being shipped to midland, texas?

 

Well they should be coming anytime, as my post above states, there is already one sitting for sale in Redding, PA. So I assume they will slowly be making their way to more and more dealers over the next few weeks.

 

sales men are dipshits, they dont even know what they are selling, believe me. I was telling the guy that i was waiting for the 2.4 to come out and he was clueleass, no one else in the dealer knew about it either. dumbasses

 

Let's rephrase that to "Some sales people are dipshits, and often they don't know as much as we do on here."

Not all salespeople are clueless, but it sounds like the ones you were talking to were.

My suggestion: Don't go back there.

The closest one is going to Brown Chevrolet in Del Rio. It's not there yet, and I can't tell when it's supposed to get there.
