Damn dude, 'bad luck with cars' is an understatement. I agree with you though, hopefully the thing is totaled so you can get an upgrade. I'd start to get nervous if I had a twice heavily damaged vehicle. Some **** just isn't the same, regardless of the repairs.

the insurance adjuster said there was 5.6 thousand worth of damage.
i honestly don't see how thats even possible if the last time it was in it cost 5.4 with less damage.

Will your insurance cover it with your deductible?

yea i have a 250$ deductible. it is all going under uninsured motorist coverage.
i decided to get a lawyer to get this all worked out.
there is diminished value involved, used parts, and what not.
3 wheels will need to be replaced, axle replaced, rear quarter panel at the moment will be fixed and not cut and rewelded and bumper replaced.
they will know really soon if theres any internal damage with the quarter panel or any frame issues with the axle.
just visually that is what they found.
nationwide visually found 5.6. the body shop found 6.1k.
so it's currently not totalled until more work is done and investigated.

as far as my back...i'm going to PT now.
my hip is unaligned and imflamed.. lower spinal cord is out of place in 2 spots and really inflamed.
around my lower shoulders on the spinal cord it is out of place and inflamed in 2 spots and my neck is also misaligned and out of place.
yay for being 20 and having back problems lol. my lower back and hip were the only ones unaligned before but those had been fixed as of january from the last accident.

should be interesting...
he did a lot of maneuvering with my body and folding it to get it back in place.
it'll take a few weeks but i think i'm in good hands there. it took 3 months last time, so i hope this one will be speedier.

i had similar(ish) damage done to my car. Because of body shop wait times around here i had the axle and hub and a bunch of stuff that cost 2 and half grand done first, then when it got to the body shop they found a ton more damage, said the car was worth 12 grand and there was 11900 worth of damage, they would have wrote it off if they didnt fix part of it already. If the door isnt closing properly then your unibody is bend and it'll be a write off, but really unless they unibody is done they'll fix it

nice. yea well i've opted to do the full repair at this point.
it'll be worth more in this case since damage is only around 5.6 and if i got the axle fixed that'd be around a grand or maybe more. then if i sold the car for 8k i'd still be at a much worst loss than just fixing it and selling it. fuuuuckk car accident.
still crossing my fingers it totalled.

7665 is the current estimate now after it being looked at more thoroughly.
axle is still open to more possible issues. theyll need to do alignment work first and so is the rear quarter panel. theyll figure that out when the cut into it.

it's not totalled out.
they didn't find any further damage.
they'll be replacing my rear caliper on the drivers side, and that wheel and reconditioning the passenger wheels.
rpd has sold.
i may still sell the rims and seats. idk. i don't know when the car will be done.
