Cobalt wholesale?

Hey guys, quick question..

My dads girlfriend just got her dealers license for a towing converstion business (pm me if you have an RV and an M-class benz you want to tow).

So since shes got that I figured I can get a cobalt really cheap! I noticed someone posted on here that he/she got there SS/SC for like $12,800 with 3,xxx miles on it! Just wondering if anyone else has gotten there car from an auction you paid for it, miles, options, ect. ect. I guess I'm just wanting to know the wholesale of a brand new - slightly used SS/SC preferably 06 with g85 and sunroof?

Thanks!

wholesale is about $15k-16k for a dealer. That was back in July on 05 SS/SCs. I would expect to pay anywhere from 13k-16k for a SS/SC wholesale.

By the way, Im the one who got the 05 SS/SC w/2980mi for $12,xxx. The car has every option but the smokers package, G85, and onstar. (not sure if heated seats are offered on the SS/SC, noticed they are in the owners manual. Actually, I have yet to see a cobalt w/them)

Its just kind of a luck of the draw thing when you go to auction though....

the dealer auctions are intense. you can find some really good deals up there...but you dont have much time to check out the cars and its not like you can test drive it or anything. and usually the cars are up there for a reason. like something is wrong with it thats why they got rid of it. but sometimes u can find the car that someone just decided they didnt want and had plenty of money to be able to throw it away.

Not true! On my last trip to KC every dealership we went to had atleast one. One dealership actually had 4; 1 red, 1 black; 1 silver; and one yellow all with G85.

Yea, its the end of year, dealers are trying to dump the 06's at auction now to make room for 07's. Dealer auctions are a litte different than those the general public are permitted to attend.
