Cobaltless and happy
You all go on and on about how great of a car this is. I owned one for a year now and now can finally say it is not anything special, at least not for me. I traded mine for a malibu that has more room, better gas mileage and did I mention more room. That cobalt was fun, but for all the middle aged men driving them to feel young we all need to grow up. I don't mean to mature more, but if your middle aged you can probobally afford that bigger and faster vehicle; go after that car and keep the cobalt ss/sc in the kiddy pool. It was fun while it lasted with the balt, but it was time to move on. Peace.

Congrats on buying the car my parents own. I drove it once and I was highly impressed. My father drove my Cobalt after I got it and he looked at me and said "I WANT ONE!" I don't know how old you are but he is 53 and he is grown up and doens't give a damn what someone thinks about what he drives. I'm 25 and neither do I. This car was about 10k less then what I planned to spend on a car. I drove everything from a Benz C280, 350z, to this, and after mulling over prices, pros and cons, and all that this was the best bang for the buck. I love this car and am having a blast for it. You are never too old for fun.

what does age have to do with this. I have an ss and my wife has a malibu maxx I like both. I think some one has a complex and issues he needs to deal with. Your car can just be an expresion, a way to have fun. Didnt know having fun had an age limit on it.

Hi igloo -
If you think you are more mature, prehaps you should read your post in this thread and consider how mature it is to come into a forum of Cobalt owners and tell them all how mature you are for selling the car and insinuating it is a kiddy-car.
If you really were after a full sized car, you would have gone for the Impala SS, instead of the Malibu.
I have two vettes, a cobalt and a lumina. I could have a few malibu's if I wanted to, but I have better taste.
I guess we will just have to live with more power and style while you *ahem* mature.

let s see here. You traded the cobalt ss/sc for a malibu
That is
A. Not sporty
B. Not fast
c. Not good looking it is fairly hideous
D. Has four doors
You go on about how it is so much better than the cobalt. It is a totally different class of car numb nuts. You are comparing apples to turds here.
People buy cobalt ss/sc's for the following reasons
A. Cheap
B. Great MPG for a sport car
C. Speed
D. Looks
E. To be different. I see 75 malibu's a week
F. Cheap vehicle to mod
The malibu is none of these including the SS model
Enjoy your maturity as I cruise by with a fine young hottie admiring my ride and see you taking grand-ma and her bridge partners to bingo while saving gas.

chevy fanboys are the worst. worse than honda fanboys by far. if he doesnt like it hell with him, but you guys are frothing at the mouth. your partly right in that i cant think of a car that is more crap than the malibu. they used to be something but now they are terrible. i can only imagine what you all wouldve said if he traded it in for an optima
