Heating Springs ??

Talking Heating Springs ??

I bought aftermarket springs and they didnt lower it enough. Whats anyone's advice about heating up the aftermarket ones so I dont have to go spend another few hundred dollars. I only wanty like another 1.5"

Oh hell no... shame on you for even thinking that. That's a ricer thing to do for sure... if you want it lower... toss those springs up on classifieds... and get a different set. Heating the springs affects their durability and will ruin your ride quality... not to mention make the car sit unevenly. You don't want that.

By heating and cooling metal it looses it's strength and integrity. Don't do it. They will be very weak after that.

they're "tein-style" .. he already posted about this in the problems section. sell them and purchase a quality set of springs such as eibach or h&r

Doing EITHER will screw em up bad.... they get heated up if you cut them and will not be straight.... DONT DO IT!!!

ya. i've been thinking that. they've only been on a week. i guess i'm just impatient because i dont think they will drop that much. i guess only time will tell though.thanx for the input.
