Thinking about relocating my engine coolant surge tank. Question is, can I use an Option B tank, mounted in the OB location (passenger side), as the surge tank for the engine coolant system? Do I have to use the plastic Option B tank or could I use an aluminum one?

Im basically just trying to free up some space from the drivers side of the engine bay and that idea popped into my head and just needed some further info.
