Hello everyone,
I recently purchased and installed a solid mount kit. They are the Bwoody solid mounts.
My car vibrates, but its not terrible. This was to be expected. Now I just have to take all the loose change out of my car lol.
Anyways, I have a couple quick questions and may add more as this thread drags on.

Has anyone installed the Bwoody solid kit, and if so, how long have you had them on?
Will the solid mounts void my warranty? I haven't got much left, but need some work done next week for an exhaust leak.
Do these risk destroying the rest of my car with the vibes?
I know they soften a bit after a while of driving, but how prevalent are the vibes after a long time owning them?

These are great. Very positive shifting, zero and I mean ZERO wheel hop. The car feels more planted than it ever did. I am just worried if there are significant long term repercussions. I put a Poly Dogbone on my Fiero a while back and it lasted for over 60000 miles when I sold it. Had some vibes, but they weren't very bad at all.
I really just wanted to stiffen up the slop between shifts. That's ALL I wanted. Could I just put in the trans mounts and achieved this?
Thank you for your help, everyone.

You get used to them... and stop noticing them.

The true/correct way to solve the wheel hop/slop problem is to use stock Top motor mount with Powell RaceShop Rotated Transmission mounts. They don't really even vibrate the car, either.
It was one of my first mods back in 2006. Took it off and sold it. Haven't thought twice about it. There is a reason that none of the fastest Cobalts run the Ingall's TD. Just sayin.
