i already bought a flowmaster 40 series muffler from a muffler shop here....they welded it on for me for 120. went to the same place today and got a full catback exhaust(from right in front of the O2 sensor by the cat back)for about 90....2.25 inches..with a longer resonator. 210 bucks for full catback exhaust..is that a good deal, anyone know??

throttle response is a lot better, and it got rid of all high pitched sounds from my exhaust...but that turbo sound our cobalts come with is gone..

I was driving and an eclipse pulled out in front of me, i swirved to avoid and popped the curb and flipped my cobalt...its totalled...i will have picture later tonight..

yeah i'm fine, my friend got a couple of bruises on his arm and a cut on his wrist and thats all. we flipped and landed sideways and somehow the airbags didnt deploy

the eclipse didnt stick around it jetted....so i got no proof about anything i said....so its technically my fault for the wreck so i gotta pay but i'm not going to get a used car next.....any ideas? i dont know if i feel like getting another cobalt...lol..i was in love with mine one couldntbe as good for me...

Did you have side curtain airbags? Those would have been the only ones that MIGHT have deployed. Front airbags wouldn't deploy unless you actually hit something with the front of the car.

 

I looked at an 06 Eclips V6 befor I got my Cobalt ss/sc. There is a good resion it has been nicknamed the Ecraps! Its slow big heavy and not fun to drive. The cobalt ss/sc is a way beter car for a beter price.
If it was up to me I would get a Cobalt ss/sc or a WRX.

Your posts are a 3 hour difference. That's messed taht u just got your exhaust done and now this. Glad your ok. The eclipses are slow. Just as stated before.. Slow and heavy... WRX, Cobalt SS/SC and SRT-4 most nag for your dollar... The new 2006 WRX starts at $25,000 and makes 230hp.. It basically has everything at that price except for the spoiler, and moonroof
