As for the rare car same here

The only major improvement I am aware of in the 06 models is an upgrade to the Theft Detterant system from problematic GM Passlock (used in 05) to the more reliable and secure PassKey 3+ (adds a new module and puts a "transponder" in your key)
A few other choice tidbits on what changed for 2006 can be found here:

Three suspension settings are available:
FE1 suspension – standard on LS, LT and LTZ models, it provides a smooth ride and includes a 19-mm front stabilizer bar and a 16-mm rear stabilizer bar
FE3 suspension – standard on SS models, it delivers a firmer, more direct ride and includes 22-mm front and rear stabilizer bars, four-wheel disc brakes, monotube shocks and 17-inch wheels and performance tires
FE5 suspension – standard on the SS Supercharged, it was developed on the racetrack to deliver sports car levels of handling and grip; 24-mm front stabilizer bar and 22-mm rear stabilizer bar, higher-rate springs and bushings, four-wheel disc brakes, monotube shocks and 18-inch forged aluminum wheels with complementing performance tires

Old News
The Chevrolet web-site has been noted as being INCORRECT since it's inception
The ratios used in the Getrag F23 used with the NA engines have ALWAYS been different from the FGP F35 used in the Superharged engines.

In the first magazine road tests it is mentioned that GM stated the rear suspension didn't need a rear sway bar so one was not used.

Look straight up inside your A-beam and you'll see the sway bar. It's welded to the rear trailing arms at each end.

That was chevy high performance and they had a preproduction model. It had an armrest and a grille that was a snap in from the outside like the pursuit ours comes in from the back. If you look at the pics in the magazine you will see that the chasis they have has the stabilizer bar in the front bolted to the control arm ours has some sort of link that attaches it to the struts like the beretta gtz had.
