Difference between oiled and dry filter

Difference between oiled and dry filter

the new gmpp intake coming out is a dry filter, is that a good thing or a bad thing?

With a dry filter you won't have to worry about oil getting on the MAF sensor.

But which is better for airflow and stuff? Or are they similar in every way except for cleaning them?

Air is less restrictive. But with GM making an filter, who knows. (I doupt they will)

the dry filter is less restrictive, and wont coat your MAF-S. And if you know how to fill a cup with water than you too will be able to clean the filter!
