Hey what have you guys been getting for Discounts, Rebates, Final price? All I know that is off right now is the On-Star Hotbutton discount.

Have a deposit on the black/black SS right now. Sticker is $23,455.00 (curtain bags, XM, roof, tray/lighter), if I take it would be be $19,341.42 (GMS price - $1k hotbutton - $1k cust cash, $1k "GM Private Offer" I was able to get b/c of the company I work for).

Just havent pulled the trigger on it yet b/c I am still up in the air on the G85

Bottom of the line price.. $25,000CDN.. With the sunroof, taxes, freight, air cond tax etc... They arn't doing much for discounts in Ontario.. Only 136 are being produces for Ontario apparently.. So they want to make as much money of them as they can, and they know they can do it so they limited the amount they give off.. GM will only reimburst the company so money money for the cars.. I saved about $2000 of the sticker price once it's all said and done.. Plus I also get a graduate discount as wel that isn't included.. That will be another $1000 off or so...

I guess thats the price you pay to have one of the hottest and most wanted car on the market.. Same with my cell phones.. I always buy them when they are brand new.. I pay the price cause I am one of the few who have them already.. So now a big deal. Saved about $3000... They only honor 5% GM discount on this car.. Not the full 10%

Up here the final price for an SS-SC with Sunroof and nothing else is $30,185 CDN including freight, PDI, taxes, etc.

They pretty much have us by the ***** up here and are not giving any discounts unless the car is already in the showroom - then you might be able to haggle a bit. Factory orders get no discounts at all.

I thought I would at least get a deal for a cash sale nut no dice. Bastards.....

~This is all in Canadian Rubles~

$30k eh?.....holy shiat!!!!

I got my '05 SS with no options (no sunroof, xm, side curtain or smokers package) for $23,171 .GM Employee discount (thats 10%, not 5%) Recent Grad, and due to ordering i saved another 1.5% (basically no Admin $).
So after trade in and downpayment I'm financing just over $20K.
I think i made off like a bandit..NOTHING in the range of what i got is under 30K all in. I got a steal.

BTW: 2 dealers have told me that i have the only '05 SS in Canada with no sunroof, not sure if i should be proud or feel cheap I hate sunroofs anyways, they can keep the $1300.

Placed the final order for my 06 SS.

Options as follows:

-WE2 package(G85)
-Side curtain air bags

$26400 + taxes, freight etc...

Total including taxes and freight etc:

$32500

OUCH!!!!

p.s. I alse received the car at $1000 above cost since I know the owner of my dealership. The car for anyone else would have been $29050 + taxes and freight etc...Easily would have been pushing 34k.

hey guys, I bought my SS at base price which is like what, 21995? Then i bought it during the summer employee pricing sale, which is great. The employee price brought it down to just under 20000, which is also below invoice. The financing manager said since the cars are being sold below invoice that GM is cutting them a check to reimburse the dealerships for the difference. The employee pricing is great! That's the reason I got my sunset orange SS, cause I got the employee pricing
