DIY Transmission Mounts or TTR Inserts?

I just purchased two used transmission mounts from a member here on css.net and am in a slight dilemma now...should I fill them myself with polyurethane, or just get the inserts? Money is tight, and I wanted to have the option of putting on my stockers if i didn't like the outcome, or if i was planning on selling the car. If DIY, what brand of polyurethane should I purchase? I've heard of 3m Window Weld working as well...any thoughts?

I used the TTR insurts myself. They worked well. Just make sure you replace both at once, otherwise you get crazy vibes.

I plan on doing both at once and later on getting an ETD. I was just wondering if it would be worth it to just buy some polyurethane from Home Depot and DIY...I mean...It'll cost me a total of $80 for the finished product vs $140.

Don't buy an ETD. Buy the TTR solid engine mount. Cost about the same, looks better, and performs better. Also doesn't have the problems you see with the ETD.

Even with trans mounts the ETD still fails? I've heard of the ETD alone doesn't hold up...I'm just being a cheap-ass here: if I can. I'm thinking about buying hidkidss' stock motor mount too...fill that **** up as well...but...just want opinions...

On a DIY note: my dad has some fiberglass epoxy that cures hard as hell, but still doesn't shatter...just wondering if this might be an option for the trans mounts?

Too hard most likely.

And I am saying that you can get the TTR motor mount for about the same price as an ETD, so why not just get the motor mount?

Anyone have any ideas on what type of polyurethane (or filler material) to use? The only kind of polyurethane I'm familiar with is the the Home Depot kind you put on wooden tables and such...
