Drivers side door wont open..

This is the second time Im gonna need it fixed. All of a sudden it just wont close or latch so I have to pull it closed and then manually lock it but then the door wont open from outside or in. Does anyone else have this problem??

my friend's truck used to do that. Something like the grease on the actual latch had dried up or something. But since yours won't open either, then I guess something is broken and that truck story has no relevance after all, sorry. (Just wanted to know I did read your original post, even though I don't know how to fix it)

cant help but that did happen to me once. the door wouldn't close...it would just bounce back.

but the same thing your dealing with happened to my old car and i think it had something to do with the locking system. pretty much a pain in the ass so i felt your pain! take it to a shop and get them to open it, thats what i did.
