dumb question FLAME AWAY!
any disadvange to have an electrical gauge? should i go for another type? Im looking to get an water temp, volts and maybe oil pressure but i prob wouldnt need that.. lol
An oil pressure gauge is a good one to have.
Mechanical and electrical gauges are equally accurate.
With electrical they are easier to setup (mount) and you won't have the possibilty of fluids entering the car.
Mechanical gauges don't need a 12v power source.
It's choice really.

Here's another question for ya!
Where should you measure the water temp at? Where does the stock gauge on the DIC measure from?
Similiarly, where should you measure oil temperature at?
(I know the answer, I'm just feeding the discussion!)
