dust storm - rattle in dash now

dust storm - rattle in dash now
we had a huge dust storm in Phoenix the other day. the very next day my cobalt had an annoying rattle coming from the dash. sound like little rocks are popping up hitting where the wiper blades are, popped the hood, nothing there... do I have to remove the dash to see if somethings inside? sounds like popcorn popping when I'm on the freeway. any ideas?

My car got tagged pretty good but i dont have any popcorn lol
