electrical problem.. help

electrical problem.. help
Installed my SC kit and had some trouble..well.. FINALLY! SHE STARTS!!! starts and idles right at 1 grand.. A/F seems alittle rich and then mellows to 12.2-12.6 .. i havnt driver her yet because we are still having some electrical issues.
my fuse for the fuel pump isnt getting any power when the key is ON, to start it we gave the fuse power with a paper clip to a constant 12v.. it started and then registers power and ran (without paperclip attached).. but it runs and then dies because of fuel.. so its something with the fuel pump.... any ideas?
the fuse isnt burnt, the problem are the terminals which give the fuel pump power.
possibly the relay?
