wondering if anyone can answer my question

Why is the emblem on the SS/SC positioned either high or low. The first one i had it was up high and the new one i got it is positioned down low.. WHY? They were both 2006 models.. I find that weird..

As far as I know...........the 05's were up high and the 06's were down low!!!!

 

yup all 2005 SS/SC badges are in the middle, while the 2006 sit toward the bottom.

 

So in other words what your telling me is that the first car they gave me could possibly have not been an '06 while they were telling me that it was.. Or that they put a different window sales sticker from another car?

also on the 06 there is a gay GM emblem on the front fenders

 

So the GM emblem likes men lol

 

possibly, it wouldnt it past me for a dealer to do that. if anything get the VIN and check it with carfax, and you should be able to tell.

 

or even on the inside of the door on the sticker it should tell you a month and year and if its before aug (i think) its that year if its after then its the next year ........ ie aug 05 ........ before = 05 ....... after=06 ..........

I just figured the dealer installed the emblems upon delivery. My 06's are low. I may move them. I think it looks better in the middle.

 

looks best with no badges on the side.. and a single SS where the bowtie used to be on the trunk, no other badges at all

 

yea i noticed that ALL gm's have that badge now for 06'

 

I still think the badges on the 05's were put on by intoxicated bums.

I have replaced all but my bowties due to the fact that the rest either fell off or were on crooked.

 

if its like my car it depends on what kind of day the guy at the plant is having,,, they are just stuck on with a kind of double sided tape,,,, i dont know
