Exhaust Warranty
Exhaust Warranty
Ermm just copied this off the Crate Engine Depot website. Not sure how it really applies.
GM CAT-BACK EXHAUST AND TIPS...THE ONLY CHOICE!
Exhaust System- Covered by Manufacturer Warranty
GM Performance Exhaust Systems YES
Corsa Performance Exhaust Systems NO
Borla Exhaust Systems NO
Magnaflow Exhaust Systems NO
*When installed by GM dealer at time of new-vehicle purchase. **Excludes PN# 19154780. ***PN#s 14160 & 14169 for "Track Use Only" in California, Washington, and Maine
Apparently just buying the GMPP parts doesnt ensure warranty coverage. They have to have a service history showing a GM service Technician installing them.
And GM doesnt recognize Corsa as a system they would warranty.

If you really think about it, your exhaust system is a well-attached, shiny pipe. What's going to happen to it? It's not as though it will blow up or start killing your neighbors' pets. It's a metal tube that gets exhaust fumes from one end of the car to the other. If it's not warranted, nothing is going to happen to it. I wouldn't worry about your exhaust pipe warranty.
Just posted it because alot of people are buying the Corsa which GM doesnt warranty. If a weld broke and a pipe came lose caught the road and ripped someones rear bumper off GM wont cover it.
