Okay well i have a 2.2 trim cobalt but with my body kit i wanted to install the SS S/C fogs into it, when i do it i wanna leave everything as clean as possible so im gonna use the factory button and the trim on the car. my car never came with fogs so will the harness plug into my 2.2 BCM?

also i have a set of SS S/C black on black leather door pannels and all the power windows and lock parts. same deal, will they plug into my BCM?

and i wanna put the SS S/C gauge cluster in my car once again, will that plug into my BCM?

No i dont.

 

all gauge clusters are plug-n-play. Its been done and computer reconfigs the speedo.

as for the fogs, the wire for the switch is already there. i too am going to try that eventually but i can't find where the fogs would be connected for power.

yea i think so. its pretty simple though its just remove and replace. the hardest part is fitting it between the steering wheel and the dash. also from what i've heard the clusters have to be same year. if you have 05-06 it has to be those. 07+ has to be 07+ cluster. the speedo and tach still work but i think some of the info doesn't come out and the door chimes are controlled by the radio in the 07+ and by the cluster in 05-06 models. or vice versa don't remember.

well thanks on the help, and you say the wires for the fogs should be there behind the dash? would they be labeled so people will know? or??
because my car never had fogs, nor power windows or locks.
i was thinking about what if i found 2 silver ss s/c doors and took them put them on my car and run the wires to my BCM would it work?

 

my car never had fogs either. behind the panel where the switch would go there was a wire taped up and the only other thing it would be is the switch for the fogs. some people plugged the switch into it and it lit up so it's been proven that it does work. I'm pretty sure yours would have it too. just pull that panel off and it should be there just sticking out. if not then idk. here's a how-to for the fogs but he just taps into the parking lights. no way to seperately switch them on or off.
