Hey guys. I believe I registered a VERY long time ago. I was going to get a Cobalt SS. Long story short, those plans didn't work and I stuck with my 1994 Dodge Intrepid. It broke this weekend while I backed out - snapped a right front CV joint. Had to be towed. The family only has 2 cars (My Mother's SXT Intrepid and my 94) as well as 2 work vans - one thats not used. After this weekend's "incident" the time has come to get a new car. The Intrepid, mine, will be used as a spare. I'll be getting a 2008 Cobalt 2LT! Ultra Silver Metallic with the auto tranny, rear spoiler, and many other options for about 16.5K. Its not an SS, but damn it sure is a Cobalt. With the trade-in on the Astro, as well as the 0% financing for 60 months, I'm looking at $201 per month on payments. Hey, thats a great deal for a 17 year old. Gas and insurance will be more obviously, but the payments are pretty low, and I can afford it. I don't think I remember anyone on the forums, but I'll be seeing this forum quite a lot in the weeks to come.

Thanks for the warm reception guys, lol! I went around dealership to dealership looking and found THE one I mentioned in my original post. The little thing is beautiful! It isn't an SS of course, there weren't any at any dealers I went to, but shoot I don't care, its a Cobalt! I absolutely can't wait to seal the deal on her. Tomorrow I'm making sure I get a hold put on it until I have a free night to head up to the dealership.
