Ok so its the same as the zr1 my dads boss has one and he launched it and he said it scared him lol but thanks for all the good info man. But as long as I'm at like 6k rpms and then shift. Now this might be a dumb question but I still push in the clutch to shift correct?

ok next noob ? i was driving today and when i got to like 12psi and didnt move my foot on the gas at all i started losing boost after a couple seconds. If i had it hammered though i did not lose any boost. I have not noticed this before is this normal?
That's normal. Boost can only be produced when there is a load on the engine. Since you held the throttle at a constant position, once the engine reached the RPM equivelent to that throttle position, there was no longer sufficient load to produce boost.
i know i still can but i dont wanna chance destroying my stock pistons rings from all the extra heat from a nls at 24 psi. i know a guy now who has smoke bellowing out his exhaust because he tuned it to 24psi and still NLS's he has to add oil every other week now. thats y i wont nls after the tune

I don't see how higher boost pressure is going to negatively affect the engine on a NLS, the trans, however, may be more like to have issues.
Do you actually mean "launching" the car or do you mean when you are trying to casually take off from a stop??
If you mean the former, then yes, the tires are going to scream. Thats normal when you launch any car.
If you mean the latter, then you need to learn how to be more smooth with the clutch.

normal take offs im fine but if i give it a little more then it takes to start out then they chirp a little i give it a little less then half throttle or half dont really pay that much attention
do you have LSD? when i take of normally sometimes my tires chirp. usually only when i make a turn though.
With GMS1 now installed, if I go WOT in 2nd gear, I can make the tires chirp.
Not to thread jack, but does anyone notice less torque steer when in competitive mode? Or is that just my imagination? And I don't have LSD.

I've used upholstry cleaner on mine to get out some spots, and that worked pretty well.
However, if you get it wet often, you're going to ruin it.
Pick up a pair if "leatherette" seat covers from your local Autozone/Advance to protect them.

yeah thats the only thing im worried about but i mean i change shirts but i have practice everyday and its hot as **** here so thats not helping and i whipe them off after i get out too
Not good. Invest in seat covers. If you ruin the seat covers by the end of the season, toss them away, and you still have brand new seats underneath.
