Finding a used Cobalt SS/Sc W/O a sunroof

I'm looking into buying a Cobalt down the road. Im debating whether to buy a brand new SS/TC and have higher payments, or go with a 15k or less SS/SC that has low miles with low payments. I need one WITHOUT a sunroof cause I'm a big kid, and I know you can get an SS/SC w/o a sunroof, but I've looked and I have not found one!!

Are there any out there or have I just not looked hard enough?

Yeah I'm looking on the internet in a 100 mile radius and they all have sunroofs! Its rediculous.

Do you think two years from now they will still be brand new Cobalt SS/TC available?

Yea... the whole sunroof thing... for tall people, doesnt really apply to the cobalt like most cars... the difference is not really discernable.

in most cars, the sunroof retracts into the car when it is open, so it eats up about 3 inches of headroom, most GM cars, it goes up and out, so it doesn't eat up AS much.

well i was at a car dealership and they had a new ss/sc with a sunroof. i get in and the head room was a little cramped. so I am wondering that I will have an addiction inch to two inches of head room, which does make a big difference. and remember i need to drive it everyday, so it needs to be comfortable

Not gonna gain room without a sunroof, in fact, I think we actually gain an inch with a sunroof cuz its a bit higher. How tall are you? cuz there are guys on here that are 6'6" and say they dont have an issue with it

Well it's your car but my 6'6" 300lb friend can get in and out of my car just fine and seems to have plenty of room....

They do have these fancy sliders on the bottom of the seat and it reclines too!

My cobalt came with everything except a sunroof . It's actually kinda rare to see a G85 SS without one.

Jarrett Dodge just got a used 06 ss/sc silver - 16k miles for 16.5k. They're a nice dealer, we bought a car from them before. I think it has a sunroof though.. not sure what else as I saw it driving home from work on Friday.

Well there aren't that many SS/SC's made when looking at overall cobalt numbers . 2% or something like that , now even fewer came without sunroofs . I said kinda rare , not that i give a crap but how else would you put it?

Yeah, sunroof = more room.

Has the OP actually sat in one?

Ifso, if you didnt have any room with a sunroof, you definately wont be comfortable without one.
