Firberglassing & cobalt?
Firberglassing & cobalt?
Well i've been reading up on fiberglassing at http://web.njit.edu/~cas1383/proj/main/ and i was wondering from anyone that has done fiberglassing, how hard is it? im not too sure what i would want to do with it maybe fiberglass my center console or something. If i'd were to do that would i just put cloth over the console and put resin over that and add the glass part to it? any input on this would be great. also could i get everything say at walmart?
You can wrap anything in fiberglass but just wraping it will cause fitment problems, because you are making everything that little bit wider and taller.
It is possible but i would try making yourself somthing smaller with fiberglass first.
Because once you do it, it ain't coming off.
Wraping isn't hard just time consuming, sanding is a bitch.
and I don't think you can get it at Walmart but any automotive store can get it.

well i just though of like fiberglassing an encloser thingy in the back behind the back seat headrest, kinda like donna's but jsut 2 speakers there. i dunno i might do something with my a/c controls and put them in the center console. not to sure
You could wrap the back parcel shelf and it probably would work fine but if you are going to put speakers in it it will have to be mounted down better then it is from factory.
The factory speakers rattle it and they aren't very powerful.
