Fire out of exhaust
go to www.autoloc.com they have some nice flamethrower kits.
just curious, maybe some consern. How do we send presurized fuel on our returnless fuel system to a secondary injector? 2nd, that cant be too safe shooting flames from an injector especialy when our exhaust pipe goes right beside the gas tank. 3rd, just don't do it, and if you do, make sure you put on one of those screw on tips, and send it flying into the car behind you!

Ditch english class much?
Stayed* and *******..
But to top it off, heres how I look at it.. for starters, its not your car...2nd off, Flame thrower kits were made by the Muscle Car Enthusiasts, not by ricers.
3rd off, its not your car...4th off, if he wants to do it, why not try helping him vs making yourself look like a ******* for not being able to spell and making no sense in your sentences..
and finaly, its not your car.
well #1 i think you'd have to have no cat in order to get flames that far, even if its just unburnt fumes
#2 I would also think you'd need some sort of forced induction to get anywhere with nothing but fumes

2) Not true. I have a 2.4 SS with no cat and a full 2.5" exhaust. I shoot a flame once in a while.
I think this guy is talking flamethrower style though... not a short flame burst naturally produced by the exhaust.
Oh wow.... Fast and the Furious huh?
....Can of ether... cheap igition system.... blow your hands off....
Honestly... not on a car... especially a Cobalt...
Here's my 2 cents ->
If you want flames and speed... go buy a fuel injected Yamaha R6 crotch rocket with an Akropovic exhaust... Then you'll see flames! (as well as lose your hearing after a day of city shifting!) They shoot blue angels and sound off a loud POP! with every shift.

It's not necessarily a good thing to do but it sometimes happends.

Also keep in mind that some engines run extremely hot, and the flame you see is actually the heat splitting the moisture in the air into hydrogen and oxygen and burning the hydrogen. If you ever see a top-fuel dragster at night with white flames comming from the zoomies, this is what's happening.

It's unavoidable that some of the new fuel comming in will also get sucked right back out. The engine is not neccesarily running rich, but unburned fuel is getting into the exhaust none-the-less.
