I have a tune, and I have GMS1. I am road tracking this summer, and I dont plan on using my hpt tune but my GMS1 as the HP tune would be way to much power for the car / application. I don't want to constantly bug my tuner about reflashing the car back and forth for me. Is there some program or cable where I can just flash and reflash between two different tunes. I dont want to buy the entire HPT sweet since I wont be tuning, and the trifecta switchable tunes is not what I want, being able to turn the tune on and or off accidently during aggressive driving, or not being able to use traction is not what I want. Also this would be a good way to put the car in "valet" mode, or if I needed a dealer visit.

I want JUST GMS1, or JUST HPT. Any ideas, is there no dongle with simple software to copy and rewrite tunes for our cars out there?

Sorry if this is such an obvious questions, I know very little about the practically and implementation of tuning *hardware

 

there's only 3 ways for this to happen, all of which you already stated you don't want..

either constantly bother Nick (he's a really good guy so I'm sure he wouldn't give you a hard time about this sort of thing), buy HPT to flash back and forth yourself, or get Trifecta tuned.. no other option

oh and there are other options to select back and forth with a trifecta tune other than just the traction control/comp mode button.
