Found this on my other forum...

thought it might be of good use to those going turbo

http://www.speedmaxperformance.com/

pretty much what it does is sprays co2 or n2o or chilled water (ur choice) thru the intercooler to cool the incoming air..instead of spraying the outside with it and wasting it..good buy IMO

thats sweet, would be great for drag racing. i wonder if you could use the cool can and just route the factory ac coolant through the system, the down side would be having to run the ac compressor when your racing and lose power from parasitic drag on the motor.

its from my understanding that this cause the co2 to last longer because its not being misted on the intercooler itself..and imagine running water with a mist of co2 getting it cold enough to move thru but not freeze and then have a pump inline to move it back to ur tank...i mean u would have to fill the water tank up sometime but it would be a all the time thing

that would actually work out well, just wondering if it would last me on a long run like the nuernburgring thats like an 8 minute all out run.

1.5 gallon tank of water and a 20lb co2 bottle and it be on a switch to where when ur hitting twisties and ur on and off the throttle to where u dont have that constant draft of air to keep u cool it might last...

hmm, might be worth it since it's allready an air to air intercooler, and i need a new one that has less volume than my current giant sized one.

the only shitty thing is they don't have any damn prices on the websight so we gotta find a distributor, or become one.

cryo systems are great for cooling...though I think the gas is somewhat harder to find than nitrous or meth.

There's a company called cry02 or something like that (can't remember) that makes kits and intercooler sprayers.

Look at that cool can design for cooling down the fuel.

Is that something that actually works?

not for spraying the intercooler..this actually passes thru the intercooler so its used better than open air spraying

I already have been making something like this for my Syclone. Since I have a water to air intercooler I have a pump and a ice box in the bed. It pumps the warm water in the IC back to the ice box, chills it and pumps back into the IC. Its not finished yet and I don't have it runed but it should work awesome. Of course my set up is different then the one shown on this site because those are air to air intercooler systems.

Yes it works. However you have to know that it won't work without it being tuned for it. Basicly with a cooler fuel you can add more boost and or air into the cobustion chamber because of less heat explosions. The goal is to keep explosions as powerful as possible without melting or destroying metals inside the motor.
