I don't think so. When I was 18, we handled **** man to man and face to face. None of this GRADE SCHOOL TIT FOR TAT STUFF!

People wonder why young adults get such a bad rap.

But the fact remains that the damage is done. I just hope that you are mature enough to deal with the future events that are going to unfold from you actions.

Or because you keyed his car based entirely on the heresay of others????? Maybe the kid did it, maybe the kid didn't, but the moment you touched his car you made yourself just as guilty as him. Revenge is not justification, it's an excuse and a poor one at that.

When my car got keyed, I was 17. Still didn't strike me as being right to go key the other girl's car. What she did was wrong, I'd rather force her to make it right than allow myself to do something just as wrong to her. It takes a lot of self-control and, yes, maturity to do the right thing. Just because you made a bad choice doesn't mean every single person would make that same bad choice.

I have a REALLY bad temper, but I still think revenge is stupid. Yes I get mad when people do nasty things to me. Yes I let it out, but not on them, and not on their property. I run, I kickbox, I go to the shooting range. but I never EVER allow myself to be brought to their level.

MAN, if someone stabbed me in the face, I swear on everything that... I'd probably be dead.

I'm 19 and I know that keying someone's car is retarded, whether they did it to me or not. I believe you when you say you don't regret it.... yet. 'Tis a mighty snowball you have started.

Im 18 and I wouldnt have keyed his car. I like cars and his is innocent, dont hurt the poor thing. I would have confronted him with the proof and told him straight up. Either he pays for it or he gets hurt.

The smartest thing to do would have been to take the proof to the police but thats probably not what I would have done.

Good luck!

Damn man. What can I say about this? Utterly pathetic.. I don't know where you're from or what kind of people you have around there or what not, but you're 18, dude.. 18. When I was younger, people were doing stupid drama all the time - setting up other people, conspiracies to see others fight. 9 out of 10 times the people involved brought it on themselves. Ask yourself this - How do you treat other people on a day to day basis? Are you a pure D**k, do you flaunt your ****? You know what?

None of that matters.

The fact of the matter is, you should have gone to the police. Time after time after time again, escalation exceeds expected thresholds. I'm surprised neither one of you have shot one-another yet. Take the advice from a military cop: Don't put yourself in that position if you can ever help it. It's not worth it.

Haha I can't say I've never gotten my revenge. Oh well though, you shouldn't touch other peoples property.

I don't know that I would advertise my crime on the internet, but then, I wouldn't have done what you did slick54. The cops are there for a reason. If revenge was really necessary though, there are tons of more subtle ways of getting it. Past that, you've got some growing up to do dude. Hopefully you'll do it before you learn your lessons the hard way.

One more thing bro, your first post in this thread is the longest run on sentence I have ever seen. You really need to use the period key man.

well it doesnt sound like there was much proof to take to the police, just rumors. im not gonna say that he is an immature little bastard cause he got the guy back, because i understand that a persons temper can make them do crazy stuff... expecially guys. some people can control it and some cant, it happens. some 40 year old men could be guilty of this. there are men whos daughters get raped, that go back and kill the rapest themselves(they never regret it either). is that right? of course not, there were better ways to handle it. look at the cobalt like his daughter, many of you can relate.
anyway, it wasnt the SMART thing to do, since this guy WILL probably do something worse to the cobalt now... like BLOW IT UP!!! hopefully they both learn something from this incident. who knows, maybe theyll become very close friends one day... haha yeah right!

well i didnt read through all the posts in this thread but i definatley agree that your actions are completely rediculous and you better hope either this guy gets over this or that one of you 2 get fired.... ur car is so done for now.

how immature and it shows your age. what if this wasnt even the right guy. and i cant believe you would come on the board and gloat about it like you are proud....and that people encourage your actions. wow...just wow.

Here is my take. You should of confronted the guy and said who told you that it was him. You would be able to tell if it was him or not by his reaction. His inflection in his voice. When people are lying their voice tone changes and they look up in the air a lot. Then you should of done something less destructive. Cut the valve stems on his tires. This way he gets a day of frustration but the valve stems can be replaced at no cost. So you didn't go and act like a retard. He probably won't be the one paying for the damage you caused his parents will. So who did you really punish ? As you get older you will realize these things. We all do stupid **** when we are young.
