Ipod input cable from 2007

Just want everyone to know about this cable that I found on ebay that lets you plug your Ipod into the factory radio aux jack. The only thing bad is it only works on the 2007.... check it out if you want at http://search.stores.ebay.com/Autowa...341785QQsofpZ0 so far it works good.

Here's a question to add:

Q. What is best or Is there a performance chip for the Cobalt (any model)?
A. NO!! There are no performance chips and anything that says it is will either do nothing or do more harm than good.

I swear this is almost as popular as what are the "best" springs

My SS/SC is completely stock, what should be the very first upgrade I should make to get the best horsepower while keeping a very nice driveable car?

Yes, why would you want anything else?

does any one else get a lot of black smoke on cold starts when you first pump the gas? im on my second cobalt, not because i wrote the first one off, but because i love the car and upgraded, but the new one does the same thing and im worried, gm says no codes, and they cant replicate at their shop, ive been in 3 times and been told the same thing, no codes no problem. it seems as if i have major carbo build up around my exhaust tip but the way i drive 'er there shouldnt be any carbon and i only use 94 octane any body know whats goin on. pls reply

the boost guage is nice but a little unnesesary especially when its in metric i need psi not kpa dammit. i would like chevy to put oil pressure, volt meter, and trans temp in newer models

The earlier models did have both, they stopped making the recaros half way through.

Best thing to ask yourself is what do you want for your car? Do you want to upgrade it and appreciate it more or do you want an out of the box time attack monster that can kill SRT-4's all day?

First things first, year, Do you want a warrenty? If you plan on voiding the hell out of the warrenty anyways I would suggest an 05 or 06, less costly but still are mostly in good condition. If you plan on a few bolt ons and mostly cosmetic mods, 07 is yours if you got the cash. You get the benifit of a factory warrenty and room to build so instead of costly potential problems to repair you can spend your money else where.

Second, trim, I already asked about performance so I will not need to reiterate that but what about confort and style? It is true base models like mine arent the most asthetically good looking of the group but it is all personal prefference, If you like it who cares about anyone else? More expensive trims will have more options and could come in leather with heated seats.

Third, gas... I am not sure about the 2.4 but the 2.2 takes 87 and the 2.0 takes 93, there is a $.20 difference per gallon and it adds up quick, every fill up will be more than $2 difference.

Forth, get the model you like, Dont buy something because you are told it is better, experience it for yourself.

Does the cobalt have an upshift indicator of its own? If so, is it good enough, or is it recommended to get an aftermarket shift light?
my cobalt sport has a stock shift light tuned to blink when it suggests the best fuel economy shift point or something like that

Go to the dealership and get a price quote, then cross reference the part #'s with places online.
