Smile FYI- MAF- P0101 Code

After installing my Intense stage 3 kit and returning my airbox to stock from an Injen, the car would not idle properly. It would rev from 750 to 1750 RPM for a few times and then stall. If i revved it past 4000 it would run OK. After talking with Scott at Intense, who was very helpful, he suggested checking for vacuum leaks and maybe that I could have damaged the MAF putting the stock airbox back on. I decided to check the MAF and just for the heck of it, I turned it around the other way. This solved everything, the car runs great now and the Intense stage 3 kit is great.

Turns out all the posts about Intense's PCMs not running right, are all minor customer related errors.

This incident was the MAF installed wrong, and Hondaeater ran different plugs at a larger than reccomended gap.

I'm glad to hear it hasn't been a problem with the Intense tuning. I've been confident they know what they're doing. I'm sure their PCMs rock! Tracking shows my PCM will be here tomorrow, can't wait to install. I'll be sure to post my 2.6" 60# review.

Glad to hear your Stage3 is running great now, have fun!
