I already searched it and i cant find it... how can i tell if my car has the LSD? i dont have the paper that tells it from when i bought the car. the reason i wanna no is cuz i have raced my friend CBodnar from here and he always seems to be on top. yes i know he is the better driver of us but wen we go from a roll we are pretty damn close. we even switched cars to see if it was maybe driver and wen i drove his car i beat him. so now i have the intake and he is stock. we race from a roll and we are pretty even then wen he hit about 90 he starts to pull. i no that LSD helps with the turnin but i just dont get y his car always wins. we have an appointment to get stage 2 in on wednesday so maybe with the new flash we will see if both cars are even or if he still begins to pull. so ultimately i wanna know how you find out if u have the G85 or not.. thanks

 

turn around and look at ur seats...or in ur trunk u have a code bar with everything for ur car i think 4 row 3rd from the right it should say g85 or lsj i believe...but there are exceptions because mine has lsd no recaros and no g85 in the trunk...lay down some rubber if u have 2 lines most likely u have lsd or jack it up and spin the left wheel and if the right one spins with it u have lsd if it spins backwards u dont

 

Only the last one is the true test. The build code says you should have it, if you see G85 on the sticker that is. Seats are an iffy thing because some 07s were made without them. The burnout thing is not true, I have done it in cars with and without G85 and gotten two marks. The real place you feel it is powering around a corner, a non-lsd car will smoke up the inside tire, where my car will transfer power and pull around the corner or at least break them both loose and start to understeer.

 

Depends ont he year. 05-06. Recaro seats are standard on the 05-06 G85...same with the early 07's. Later 07's....chekc the VIN to the dealer and tehy should tell you.

 

its an 07 and i dont have recaro so is his he has an 07 and doesnt have recaro but he has the LSD just not sure if mine does
