GM and the Cobalt
i don't disagree with you, but i think the BMW 128i will catch a lot of those sales.
If you read the news about the new Congressional MPG requirements looks like all cars, trucks, and SUVs will be the size of golf carts -- 37 MPG corporate average by 2020.
Somebody's living in a make-believe world.....
I don't follow you. Apart from weight, the Cobalt and Mustang are roughly the same size.
The market for a Mustang is just that........it has no competition.
Apart from trucks, the Mustang is one of the most lucrative models that Ford enjoys.......it helps keep them alive. A 350Z? If you think these cars are focussed in the same market.....I'd like to get some of the **** you're smokin. A loaded stang is 2/3 of the price of a base Z.

Are those BMW's even going to to be available here in the US, or are they coming in the next couple of years.
From the picks, I will not be buying one of those 1xx, no matter how fast it is.
I am considering buying a mustang or camero in the next 2 years. They look ausome, have big power, are affordable muscle cars. Thats why I want one.
