Rim warranty??? **** that, if it chips they repair it, simple as that! I am in the process of getting a rim refinished, the dealer sends it out to a sub contractor in Windsor that does the refinishing for GM. This is the third attempt at refinishing this wheel as it came back worse each time and if it fails one more time I'm going to demand a new rim

Your basic vehicle warranty covers the rims. Unless you are the one who f@#ks them up!

I have no clue why you would pay extra for something already included in the bumper-to-bumper warranty. You got owned pal.

I don't really want to demand too strongly with my dealer as it s my bud's dealership and they turn a blind eye and warranty alot of things that are shall we say, questionable like my old car that had full suspension and had blown strut mounts

My Cobalt ss/sc just went in for the rims to be refinshed. All four of my rims were chipped and stained. Has anyone gotten their rims repalced? Also its in for the nasty hesitation in 1st and 2nd gear, has anyone found what the cause of this is? Im completely stock as for now.

Well that may be what I have to do, but they did send them out to be refinished, and I guess i'll have to wait and see the finish job. do we know which member it was that got the new 07 rims? Thanks

All 4 of mine were sent out under warranty to be re-finished a few months back . All 4 of mine came back the same shade as OEM , and unlike the OEM wheels , they were as glossy as the paint on the car . I was really impressed . So far the re-finishing has held up perfectly .

Good luck with yall's wheels .

I got the same friggin problem, but they look like rock chips on one wheel. I know they arent but how do you explain that to a dealer. I had 18s on my cavalier for 4 years and never once got any dings whatsoever. What should I do?

I must have one hell of an awsome dealer

I didn't even have to say a thing to the service manager about my rims.

We were just bullshitting after my tire rotation he noticed my chipping rims and we order brand new 2007 polished rims.
