When I got my car the dealer gave me a "first oil change free" deal so I let them so it for me which means conventional oil, but next fill I'm going with Mobil 1 5W30 Synthetic.

I've changed my oil once so far, and I took it to Juffy Lube and used Pennzoil 5w-30.

That was during the summer. I have no idea about winter though.

5w30 should be fine in the winter also...it has the lower temp rating then the 10w30 for example. alot of people...myself included...run 5w30 all year round.

On the first change, I'll put 10W30 in instead. But then, I live in Phoenix...those in colder areas would be fine sticking with 5W30, whether or not they decide to go synthetic.
