Gmpp clutch question
Gmpp clutch question
So, a couple of weeks ago I posted on here asking opinions on if I should trade my Cobalt ss tc sedan for a focus St. Reason I was thinking of it was I needed a new clutch. Well, I Got the new gmpp clutch in my lnf instead. . Let me tell you, the sucker grabs very well. And I'm super glad I didn't trade the balt. I'm very happy with the clutch. I'm currently around 316/341 and it holds the power with ease. I do have a question though. I've been searching on the forums and saw that some people say you don't have to break them in. Just some heat cycles. I want to know what you guys think? If you have a gmpp clutch please chime in. Let me know how it's holding up and how you broke in your new clutch. Thanks guys..
Special thanks to zzp who sent my fly wheel and help me save 400! You guys did a great job!

gmpp build book says get a handful of heat cycles and your good.
i literally broke mine in for 5 drives to work and back and then beat the hell out of it ever since. to each his own, but if i see a reliable source say no 500 mile break in needed, ill take advantage of it.

Gmpp clutch question
Just like an engine, need to do heat cycles. driving like a baby for 500 miles does nothing but premature glazing.
