ordered my GMPP performance exhaust on friday from crateenginedepot and got it on monday. got it installed yesterday! here she is!






i debated on the angle vs straight tip for a long long time and im really happy the way the straight tip looks! the exhaust isnt as loud as i was hoping, but i guess it will get slightly louder as it breaks in a little. very nice purr to it though. i love it! can notice a little increase in power.

also, what do you guys think about the tip? i like the straight tip on it. but how bout with the chevy logo facing to the side like that? i personally like it, but im hearing mixed thoughts on it. if i left it facing up you wouldnt be able to see it at all.

 

Looks nice. I like the way you set the tip up with the bowtie sideways, I may have to do that when I install my exhaust.

I like the look of the tip a lot more on the ss's than the ls's. I'm very unhappy with my tip, maybe i'll have to get the bumper piece off a 2.4...

not a fan of the sideways bowtie, but if you like it thats all that matters.

Looks nice though! too bad gm didn't make it about 1/4 of an inch smaller.

 

I'm probably gonna sound like a newb here, but is that black mesh thing on the botton of the bumper standard on the 2.4s?

yea i really need a drop. my front bumper is so scraped up as it is though. is it possible to just drop the rear? or maybe just slightly drop the front and a regular drop on the rear?

 

yea if you go with the eibach kit they have one with only lowers the rear and keeps the front the same and then if you get the more aggressive one it lowers both..i can't remember the names but i know they have 2 diff set up and 2 diff drops

 

damn that would be perfect!

anyway ill try to find a way to get an audio clip if i can.
