i got word that gmpp will be releasing the intakes/exhaust systems mid-production year for the 2006 cobalts. no idea what the specs/prices are but i was informed i should save my money and wait for them to come out because they are going to be bad ass... i told him there's no way in hell i can wait that long for those upgrades lol.. as i don't think anyone else will either. this is just to let you guys know they're doing more than just the stage kits. i don't have any other info on them.

If the performance is there , I may just hold off on the GMPP exhaust . I in no way really want my SS louder than it is from the factory , as its already loud with the stock muffler/resonator . I assume the GM exhaust might be a tad quieter than a typical aftermarket equal . Every exhaust Ive heard so far for the SS is just too loud for my tastes . IMO no matter how ya look at it , its difficult to have loud and 4cyl together and sound all that great . Maybe Im just biased to my F-bodies .

 

Yeah GM looks like they're getting their stuff together. I'm holding off on my M90 swap until I find out what stage 3 - stage 5 kits are - if they ever exist.
