GMPP Performance Exhaust VS. GMPP Touring Exhaust
Is the only difference between the GMPP Performance exhaust and the GMPP Touring exhaust the noise it makes? Performance being more of a growl compared to the Touring's purr?
I'd like feedback from people with the Touring, as I've heard others talk about the sound/growl of the Performance.
If there's another difference that I'm missing - please educate this a--hole.
Thank you

There was a thread where GM made a sound clip of the stock exhaust, touring, and performance all in one sound clip. Ill see if I can search for it.

It comes out awesome if you have a 5.1 or 7.1 system at home . They both really vibrate the floors .
Just remember if you buy a GMPP exhaust you have to buy the tip seperately, they have two - an angled and a straight.

The tip is a bolt-on.
BTW, both exhausts are performance exhausts. There is the Sport and the Touring. basically the only difference between the two is the resonator. I have the Touring and love it; its very mellow until you go WOT.

Well I dont know what exhaust I got, but it is one of the GM cat backs. I paid for the sport but compared to my friends with the sport mine sounds like the touring. Either one sounds great to me you cant go wrong!
While that is not a bad idea, most custom exhausts are crush bent which in the end, flow maybe the same as a 2.25 catback. If you can get a 2.5" exhaust done with out getting it crush bent, I would also you do it!
Save your money and get a custom 2.5" bent up for half the price.
