Going to the track tomorrow

yeah im going to the track agian with my 2.2 cobalt

its a 1/8th mile but no times though its on an airport runaway for about 4hrs so its gonna be fun wish me luck guys

Good luck man! Isn't launching a pain? I haven't quite gotten it down yet. The best I've done so far is an upper 2.3 60'.

about 2500-3000 anything more i spin too much anything less i bog out

Im thinking about Nitrous next year....once i get my full exhaust intake 2.4 mani done...what shot do you guys recomend

I think 75 is regarded as a pretty safe maximum for frequent use at the track.

yes im a manual...NO mods at all i still have that ugly intake on the car

Just remember that if you plan on eventually going turbo, you might want to save your money by not getting an intake or a header. One of the GMPP exhausts would be a nice addition though. Consider some handling mods too; I recommend the progress rear sway bar.

i can easily turbo my car on my own i get the tools nessicary to make the pipes and welding ect...but its the damn tuning that screwing me!

I4 Mustang Convertible -Win(wow they are slow)
2.4 Sunfire -Win
RSX-S - Lost
Cobalt SS(2.4) - Loose (he was an auto it was very close, i got killed in top end)
Honda Accord EX-Win
Honda CRX SI - Win
Mustang V6 -Win
