Good radar detector??
just got a new cobalt ss /sc i want a good radar detector, anyone have one and can give me input on a really nice one that works really good.

Remember that it's a radar detector not a police detector. Alot of radar newbee's think that if a police car is around then you detector will go off, that is wrong. The police have to have there radar on for you to pick them up.

Or you could just slow down...thats a pretty good way to avoid getting speeding tickets...

I just tell them that they have to have their radar on to work properly. BTW, I have a Cobra radar detector and have had no problems with ($60 from Target ). Would have gotten the Valentine, but too pricey for me. I like the fact that it gives the direction of the cop, but oh well.

once i got my s/c i took my radar detecter out reason is i actually got more tickets with it in than now with it out.
i got my first ticket with the s/c about a week and 1/2 ago after 1 1/2 years.
i say go radar detecter less
