Thumbs up

Good buy IMO, if you can find an unmolested EM1 for a good price jump on that ****. Don't go with bolt on's you will probably never see 14's with it. Don't put a blower on it, with the tuning they give you it will run lean on cylinder #4. You going to get flamed for owning a Civic on this site, oh well. Join Honda-tech and get some ideas from them. Not to mention the swaps that you can do with, so you might be the second or third owner. If you plan on swapping or rebuiling you will be just fine. Rebuild kits are cheap as hell and B16's are a dime a dozen. Go with an all motor K20 or a B18c, good luck!

It's all about what you want. New car, that's only been with you so you know it's clean...or sloppy seconds.

at any rate, i'd prefer the cobalt, but go with what you want reguardless of what people say (ignore the word 'rice'....no one knows what it means anymore anyways...)

well...its a step up power wise i guess...not to much potential for power upgrades turbo or blower wise on the stock engine with such high compression. In my opinion the car looks terrible inside and out...although great fit and finish.

if it was up to me and i was getting rid of a 2.2 i would hold off to gauge other options. it is a very overrated car

Sounds good, I personally like 6th gen civics (my last car was one) and the SI's are nice. Oh and to let you know the B-series are now actually expensive due to the fact that they dont make them anymore and so many people have done swaps. I got a quote for a b-serie swap compared to h-series swap, and it was going to be the same price because B's were rarer than H's. Which led to me getting this SS/SC But, hondas are light and the aftermarket part industry is crawling all over them, plus they are good for normally at LEAST 200k miles. Anyways... I feel like I'm on the civic forums all over again so I better stop talking.
