In a friggin parking lot, when I wasn't even the car. F-er left without leaving a note too. Anyway insurance won't cover it, cops won't do anything, and I'm in the market for a new rear bumper. How do we feel about this? Damn good price compared to stock, that's for sure. My only concern is that I don't see reverse lights...

it doesnt look bad but im with the other guy about it not matching, cobalt ss bumper might look good. but the main thing is thank god they didnt hit the g8

That's true man. I just figure despite its aftermarket nature it's still somewhat simple because it doesn't have a lip or anything.

And yeah, G8's safe and sound asleep in her garage.

I would, and want to, but my bumper's actually cracked by the license plate area so I need a whole knew thing.

 

get the G5 lip from RK Sport, and get a bumper used

 

yeah i'd get stock or cobalt end kit isn't too bad but it's still ehhhhhhh lol.

 

I'm not trying to get a lip or anything, just trying to replace my f'ed up bumper without breaking the bank.

go back to the parking lot and see if their are any security cameras, if so have them checked around the time you were hit..

 

Already tried that, newer building so the cameras aren't functional yet.

And how does insurance NOT cover something like this? Do you have collision coverage?

 

Fiber glass you WILL hate.... crack easy and will cost more in the end of the day
