I was just watching Speed TV & there is a Grand Am Cup
From Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.

I thought I'd post for those who want to watch

I see BMW, Porsch, mazda, Mini Coopers, Mustags, GTO's & Cobalts from what I can see so far

I find it ironic in what cars the Cobalt is competing with & holding it's own

 

i thought there were RSX's as well

 

yea your right I think I am new to the grand am racing as it looks like there are different fields racing at the same time as there showing the Cobalt to be 1st but I see the mustang is 1st over a porch!

Is there some one who can clarify the format for me like I said I'm new to this format of racing.

 

There are a few different classes in the Grand Am cup races... the Cobalts aren't competing with all the cars on the track. BTW... there are also RX-8's and RSX's on the track as well.

There are a few posts about the Grand Am cup Cobalts on here somewhere... I just wanna know what they're running. GM Stage 3, or somekind of custom tune? They seem to be doing very well.

 

Thanks for the posting & I did see that the Cobalts were to fast so they dropped the pulley size on the super charger & after that the teams had to work alot on the braking & handleing so they could run better in the corners. I haven't heard on what exactly there running for HP but they said that they made rule changes to make them slower on the track

 

Anyone else see the Cobalt SS/SC hat that the driver on TV was wearing? I WANT THAT!!
