i raced a golf, or rabbit... (what ever they are now) on the high way 3 times, and won 2 of the 3. The it wasn't the GTI so i thought it was a pretty even race. The first was from 50 in 3rd went to about 90 and shut down becasue he let off after i pulled on him, the second was from 35 in 2nd, he pulled at first but i passed him 4th at about 100 and the 3rd race was from 50 in 3rd again when i went to put it in forth i messed some how, and he pulled ahead but after i found 4th i stayed about 1/2 car length behind till i hit 105 and we shut down

 

an 01 jetta will not have 200hp..174 in the mk3 motor

 

well no matter how much hp he had i bet him and for those that dont believe that then o well.. i cant make no one believe what they dont want too..

 

hehe well see the beamer was runnin 15.3 and he said he whooped my bros ass...bad. so im thinking bad is what 4+ car lengths. so whats that put him at 15.7-15.9 or so? could be close.

 

if its an 01 gti its the mk4 motor and he has the 12 valve vr6 which mean hes pushing about 175hp and 180trq....he'll take you. If he has a 5speed then even worse.

my friend has the 2000 jetta vr6. i can only take him with the spray.

 

yeah i'd say it would be close.. just do like i do.. if they wanna race then lets go for it.. dont matter what kinda car it is or how much power they got.. im not scared nor bothered by bein out run.. its justa race and if i win i win if, i lose i lose.. its not like if i lose they gonna take my birthday.. i just raced a v6 honda accord last night that i was startin to pull from and then he let out of it after i started to pull from him.. i was barely pullin but i was none the less.. its just fun to race so i do it whether or not imma win.. its just for fun not like im racing for money or pinks..

 

yeh racing is so god damn fun.

 

lol yeah it is.. it gives me an adrinaline rush some times when im racin.. when that happens it makes it even better..

 

well i called my brother were gonna do it sometime next week, i should have my 2.4 manifold installled on sunday.

 

it was all stock other then exhaust and intake but they lag really really REALLY bad

 

yeh my bro told me the 1.8t is jus as fast as his vr6

 

that's what i heard i never really asked anyone someone toldme the vr6 will most likely get you off the line tho cuz it's na so there' no lag
