Well needless to say! my cobalt has been in 2 accidents in 2 days. 1 accident was my fault so lets talk about that one. Me and a friend who got a new tiburon were done with a regents so we went to the car wash to clean our cars then go eat we were the only ones in the place and only cars in the parking lot. well when we were leaving he stalled his car in reverse he was 2 days old in driving standard so he said go and not even thinking i just backed up. So i put my arm behind the seat turn my head look backing up then all of a sudden i here smack. and the i seen it falling down. It was a 2007 honda goldwing. the bike was lower then my trunk and then wing plus my tint didnt help. we even put em back up so i could show the guy i really couldnt see it. I did 1100 bucks in damage into his bike by just it tipping over i did no damage where i hit it. My car has a tiny little scratch that isnt even noticable. FUNNY PART IS THE OWNER OF THE BIKE IS MY MOMS DOCTOR
2nd day:
Im driving back from my work because i grabbed my paycheck. So im driving and i come to this corner at 55-60mph and i see this dump trunk with rocks pouring out of it (the trunk was driving on the opposite side) i had no time to do anything and we met up and my car was pegged woth level 3 stone. so far its $1600 in rock chips yes they are really small in so spots and its not really noticable but there there. and yes there are so rock chips like only 1 on the roof but its down to metal and im having them repaint any type of rock chip on my car otherwise im suing his insurance company. This trunk also damaged my friends 89 camaro rs and he got 600 bucks in damage. there were 3 other vehicles involved. i called my friend with the camaro because hes my bestfriend and he said he got hit with rocks to and that he as following the dumptruck so i turned around and was catching up with my friend. I get out when i see the truck parked and i immediately start telling the guy wtf is your problem. he tells me wat are u talking about. i told him ur throwing rocks all over the damn road and there pouring out of ur vehicle. He was like idk where there coming from i was like the back of ur truck deuschbag. I was like **** this im calling u in. Call the cops and a state tropper came. He got a ticket for loose cargo and has to deal with all the vehicles that were damaged. my car just got out of the body shop a month and a half ago due to a ion redline smacking into me and the little scratch is on the valance that just got repainted. Im telling u this is not my luck so far heres things that have happened to my car
1. Deer ran into the side of my car when i was doing like 15mph
2.car was keyed bad at my school
3 Friend in his ion rl hit me in the ass
4. *my fault* backed up into a month old goldwing honda
5. Dump truck hit me with rocks

i just figured id vent with my brothers of css.net shell be repainted soon and hopefully i get a lil 2.2 cobalt as a rental god that will be fun.

 

i think our cars are magnets for damage...if it makes you feel any better...

i have:
1) backed up into a minivan at night that parked in front of my garage i didnt know it and i backed into it while backing out...i got some stripes painted on the back of my car to fix that lol
2) backed up into a mower trailer that my dad moved in front of the garage door when i was living at home not 1 month after i backed into the minivan
3) I have at least a hundred rock chips 95% of which are on the hood
4) some drunk bitch at a bar plopped her fat ass down on the hood of my car and dented it in two spots slightly
5) a dumb **** at a car wash curbed one of my wheels while driving it in to be washed ( he also stalled the car 5 times and was beating the shifter trying to get it in reverse!) i got 500 dollars from the owner of the car wash on that but i needed the money so my wheel is still damaged lol

so yeah theres probably more but youre not the only one with shitty luck lol

 

Mine too guys. Within a couple of months of getting it I scraped my rim on the curb at the bank. Luckily it was just the plastic OEM hubcap and I got new rims last week. Then countless ******** have slammed their car doors into it and/or scratched it. Then last Thursday I backed into a handrail and damaged my drivers side door. Ironically, I was at Cardinal Chevrolet ordering a new seat belt guide for my passenger seat which I had broken earlier that day. I was going to buy my Cobalt from there but got a better deal out of town. I guess that was their way of getting back at me...
